Welcome to Bike Banff’s blog, where we’re all about exploring the great outdoors on two wheels (and a motor)! Today, we want to tell you all about one of our favourite outings – exploring Bow Falls and Lake Minnewanka.

First off, let’s talk about renting a scooter from us. It’s easy-peasy! All you need is a valid driver’s license (and a sense of adventure, of course). We’ll set you up with a safe, reliable e-bike and ensure you know how to operate it.

Now, let’s talk about the freedom of a self-guided tour. Sure, there are plenty of guided tours you could take to see Bow Falls and Lake Minnewanka, but there’s something special about exploring on your own. You get to set your own pace, make your stops, and take in the scenery at your leisure.

But don’t worry, just because you’re on your own doesn’t mean you’re entirely on your own. Our friendly staff is always happy to recommend places to check out, routes to take, and things to see. We’re locals, after all, and we love sharing our knowledge of this beautiful area.

So, now that you’re all set up with a scooter and some insider tips, it’s time to hit the road!

First stop: Bow Falls. This stunning natural wonder is just a short ride from our shop. The roar of the falls is incredible, and the views are even better. Make sure to snap some photos and take in the majesty of this powerful display of nature.

Next up: Lake Minnewanka. This glacial lake is truly something special. The clear blue waters are surrounded by soaring mountains and dense forests, creating a breathtaking backdrop for your ride. Take a stroll along the shoreline, or even rent a canoe or kayak to get out on the water.

Let’s do another: Vermilion Lakes. Located just outside of Banff, these stunning lakes offer the perfect setting for sightseeing and sundown.  Don’t forget your camera out here as this is one of the most photographed areas in Banff National Park!

As you ride back to our shop, take a moment to reflect on the amazing experience you just had. You explored some of the most beautiful natural attractions in the area, and you did it all on a e-bike! So fun right? It’s the perfect way to combine adventure, freedom, and fun.

So, what are you waiting for? Book today and go explore Bow Falls, Lake Minnewanka and Vermilion Lakes. It’s a must-do outing that you won’t soon forget!
